What about posts?

The prices quoted on this website are just for the dovecote itself. If you require a suitable post on which to mount your dovecote, and I am either delivering the dovecote in person or you are collecting it (see above),  I am able to supply a suitable 2.8m / 9ft post for an additional £15.  It is also possible for me to supply stands for certain models of my dovecotes.  I can supply one of these for a cost of £20.

If you are providing your own post then the following sizes are required for my dovecotes:

The Hatton - 3" x 3" / 7.6cm x 7.6cm

The Ludford - 4" x 4" / 10cm x 10cm

The Minting - 3" x 3" / 7.6cm x 7.6cm

The Ranby - 4" x 4" / 10cm x 10cm

The Kirkby - 3" x 3" / 7.6cm x 7.6cm

The Alford - 4" x 4" / 10cm x 10cm

The Linwood - 4" x 4" / 10cm x 10cm

How do I order?

As my dovecotes are hand built to order and I prefer to discuss my customer's requirements in person or by email.

I accept payment by Paypal (Either by using the buttons on the website or I can send a Paypal invoice), Cheque, Bank Transfer or Cash on collection.

Delivery costs are £40 to the UK (excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands) unless otherwise stated.  You are more than welcome to collect your dovecote in person of course and if you live elsewhere please contact me for a shipping quote.

Can I have a dovecote in another colour?

Yes.  All my dovecotes are built to order.  Please call me or drop me an email to discuss your colour and finishing requirements.

What are your dovecotes made from?

My dovecotes are constructed from pine and exterior grade plywood.  The joints are then weatherproofed with silicone.

The Dovecotes are then finished with 2 coats of Weathershield paint.  Finally, the tops are finished with lead flashing.
